An accessible layout
The Accessible King has a 34 m² layout with uncluttered space beside the king bed and a lowered writing desk with knee clearance. A step-free route connects the entrance, reception and lift to the room. The room doorway has an 850 mm clear opening; the bathroom has a 1500 mm turning space. These measurements help you compare the room with your own mobility equipment before making a request.
Bathroom access
The bathroom has a roll-in shower, a folding shower seat and grab rails beside the shower and toilet. The basin has open space beneath it, and towels are stored within reach. The shower has a handheld head. If the positioning of a particular fitting matters for your visit, describe it in your message so the team can discuss the room with you.
Inside the bedroom
One king bed sleeps up to two guests. The desk, bedside lighting and smart TV serve the same purposes as in the hotel’s other king rooms, while furniture placement keeps the main route open. There is a kettle, mini fridge and wardrobe. Heating and cooling are controlled in the room, and curtains cover the window fully.
Planning your arrival
The front desk is staffed throughout the day and night and can help with luggage and the route to the room. Mention any assistance you would like in the enquiry message. The room is a hotel bedroom rather than a staffed care facility; describe practical access needs without sending medical records.
Stay information
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am. The lead guest must be 18 or over and present photo identification. All rooms are non-smoking.
Cancel at least 48 hours before 3 pm on the arrival date for no accommodation charge. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged one night. Changes depend on the hotel’s written agreement.
